ASB Polyfest

This annual event, now the largest Polynesian Festival in the world began at Hillary College, Otara in 1976. The festival's purpose was to demonstrate the students pride in their cultural identity and heritage and bring schools and the different cultures between them together.

Dates: 16 – 19 March

Pasifika Festival 2016

The Pasifika Festival is a truly unique experience that has something for everyone!

The 11 authentic Pacific Island villages have their own performance stage and market setting, each with a distinctly unique vibe. From the buzz and loud sounds of the Cook Island and Samoan stages to the peaceful setting of the Niue and Kiribati villages. 

Celebrating its 24th birthday, the 2016 festival will be located at Western Springs Park

White Night at The Pah Homestead

Saturday 12 March 2016, 6pm-9pm

Drawing Degustation at the Pah Homestead

Music, objects and dance will inspire your drawing prowess at the Pah Homestead on White Night.  Explore the different rooms of the Homestead and have a go drawing what you see and hear, or just see what our guest artists create.

Featuring a rotating roster of talented Auckland artists including; Reece King, Kenneth Merrick, Michael Prosee, Louise Keen and Brent Hayward and live performances by Magic Veil Dance, SANG and Psychic Hotline.

Bring your own drawings materials or purchase paper and pencil packs for $5.

Drawings created on the night will be available to purchase.

Auckland Arts Festival's one-night arts extravaganza White Night is back!

Move yourself around from north to south, east to west, hang out in central Auckland or let White Night come to you in your neighbourhood. FREE!

All across town, inside and outside at over 100 venues and locations, artists, performers, musicians and makers of all description invite you to inspect, experience, watch, see, make and touch all sorts of wonderful creations. On White Night, galleries, squares, laneways and promenades, Auckland wide are free to explore at night.
